Magic and Secrecy

Secrecy is one of the sides of the witches’ pyramid that many people tend to

ignore. It’s easy to get excited about a new spell that you’re doing and wanting

to talk about it. But by doing that, it’s a good way to insure that your spell will

NOT come to fruition.

 

There are a few reasons why this can happen. One is that you may be telling

someone who is jealous of you, or may even secretely be your enemy. If this is

the case, they will work against you either purposefully or accidentally simply

with their thoughts and feelings on the matter. That energy can effect your

outcome.

 

If you announce your wonderful spell and objective to a skeptic, you face a

similar situation. They will send the energy of their disbelief your way. Since

everything is energy, people do not have to believe in magic to actually do

magic through their thoughts. I believe that we totally create our realities, each

and every one of us, whether we believe in such things or not. So someone’s

doubt can weaken your spell.

 

Another thing that can happen to stop your spell from working when you tell

others about it, is you suddenly feel like you have to perform. Thoughts such

as “It had better work now, or I’ll look like a fool, or inadequate, etc. to so and

so”. That right there is putting doubt in the mix. You will have just doubted

yourself, thereby rendering your spell useless, or very weak at the least.

 

This is why secrecy is so important. Keep your magic your little secret until it

manifests. Once it has manifested, you can tell whoever you want. If they don’t

believe you accomplished it with magic, so what? You have your objective.

They can’t hurt it now, although they may still think you’re a nut.

 

The other three sides of the witches’ pyramid are creative imagination, strong

will, and rock hard faith. This is a variation of the original version which is to

know, to dare, to will and to keep silent.

 

Creative Imagination refers to the ability to visualize fully what you want. See,

hear, smell, and feel the outcome as if it has already happened.

 

Strong Will of course refers to willing this to be. Focus and direct the energy.

You can do this strictly mentally, or as most witches’ do by putting this energy

into a candle. As the candle burns, it releases your energy towards your goal.

 

Rock Hard Faith speaks for itself. You must have unwavering faith that your

magic has worked, and that you WILL obtain your objective.

 

As for the original version, To Know is to know yourself and what is in your

heart, as well as knowing how to do the magic.

 

To Dare is to dare to actually do the magic. There are people who are so afraid

something will go wrong that they don’t follow through even though they want to

do the magic. I have met people who are even afraid to do healing spells on

people because they are afraid it will come back on them. My theory is so

what if it does? Can’t we all stand to be a little healthier? If you are up to no

good, I could understand being afraid, but not for anything positive.

 

To Will is the same as Strong Will above.

 

And To Keep Silent is the same as Secrecy above.

 

So this sums up the Witches’ Pyramid, and the importance of the most

commonly overlooked aspect of it – Secrecy.
